Vlog 286 – All the Faithful Departed

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “All the Faithful Departed”.

My friend, today is the day of All the Faithful Departed, so I invite you throughout the day, not only think about your relatives, acquaintances and friends who have died; please pray for them too. Yes, pray and offer Masses for them, you can even gain plenary indulgences for them, because sadly, not all of them when they die, “passed to a better life”; some go to Hell, some go directly to Heaven, and others, before going to the Father’s arms, have to spend a time in Purgatory, to purify themselves of their sins. Prayer is priceless, and helping the souls in Purgatory to go to Heaven as soon as possible is amazing, it is something wonderful.

Vlog 285 – Fall in love

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Fall in love”.

My friend, do not despair, if your vocation is marriage, holy matrimony, do not run if you do not want to cry or repent. There is nothing like doing things right; pray, ask God, in daily and constant prayer, to make you find that person to love all your life, that person with whom to share the rest of your days, with whom to make a home, a christian family, and calmly, give God time to unite your paths, yours and that of your future spouse.

Happiness is not given by the vocation itself, and marriage is a matter of two with God, so have a good and chaste courtship, and marry in love and forever. If you are not in love, do not get married, even if all your friends are already married, engaged or in love, even if your parents already want to have grandchildren, even though you are getting old… why become bitter? Why settle for the first person who passes, or the only one who accepts you? If you marry badly, what you, your spouse, your children and family will suffer. My friend, know very well the person you are going to marry, learn everything from her, and you be sincere and show yourself as you really are, to fall in love with each other and be happy.

Vlog 284 – Again

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Again”.

It has happened again, it happened again, you let yourself be carried away and you have sinned again. You are ashamed of your weakness or of having to go through the confessional again to ask forgiveness for the same thing.

Don’t worry about what the priest might think or those who see you going to confession; do not let yourself be overcome by pride or arrogance. What should be important to you is living with a clean soul, being on the same wavelength as God. You are imperfect, like everyone, you are a sinner, like everyone! So what? Stopping going to confess doesn’t solve anything; it doesn’t make you perfect, it doesn’t make you better, nor does it give you a pass to eternal Heaven; quite the opposite. God is perfection, and only He can make you perfect, saint, that is why He instituted the Catholic Church, to whom He entrusted the sacraments. Why do you think He gave us the confession for? In order to free ourselves from the bonds, burdens and bitterness of sin, so that we can get closer and closer to God, so that we can be happy already here on earth, so that we can go with Him to his Kingdom.

My friend, then you know, go to the confessional. Try to have a life of prayer and meditation. Think of your soul, of your eternity! Don’t throw it all away out because of shame, fear, pride, or whatever. Think of yourself and your life, you have a mortal body and an immortal soul. Where do you want to go, to Heaven or Hell? I certainly want to go to Heaven, and I pray that you and I will meet there.

Vlog 283 – Country

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Country”.

My friend, so many things happen to people in our day to day, we do many activities, we have our heads in a thousand and one places… and so many forget what is really important, that we come from God and we must return to Him, to be happy, happy, all the eternity.

Many deeply love their country and defend it however they can. And you, my friend, are you a patriot of Heaven? Because your country is the Kingdom of God. Are you aware of it? Meditate on your true country, the one that unites us all through baptism. The Heaven, that’s great! Do you already think about it from time to time? Do you inform yourself and educate yourself in order to be better, in order to have the best place in the Celestial Kingdom? Do you struggle and fight so that the devil does not take you away or make you lose your inheritance? My friend, dream big and go hand in hand with Jesus and the Virgin Mary! Enjoy being a Catholic, serving and loving God, with all your heart, with all your soul and all your strength!

Remember and always keep in mind, no matter how busy you are, that your country and destiny is Heaven.

Vlog 282 – Rosary

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Rosary”.

What a joy, we are in October, in the month of the Rosary!, and of course, here I am with one of my rosaries, to tell you about this incredible prayer.

An Our Father, ten Hail Marys and a Glory Be, so many times they are little to meditate on each of the mysteries, which help us to deepen, to remember and to contemplate the life of Jesus and Holy Mary, our beloved Mother. To pray the Rosary is to accompany them, love them, find peace… Seriously, life would be different if everyone prayed it, and also with love.

The Rosary is wonderful, do you want to get something from God?, bring roses to Mary, so that she may present them to God, pray the Holy Rosary with faith.

I invite you, I encourage you to pray it. Why not start today, this month of October, as it is the month dedicated to this fantastic prayer? Come on, my friend! Vlog 281 – Angels

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Angels”.

What are angels? They are spiritual beings created by God. In case you didn’t know, angel means messenger. In the Bible, you will see how God uses his angels to send messages, as well as to help men, for example, in the book of Tobit, we see the archangel Raphael. Have you read it? Do it, you will like it. I leave the link here and in the description box so that you can read it from the Vatican website.

I want to clarify that Satan and demons are not gods; there is only one God, so it is a big mistake to compare them to God. Demons are fallen angels; at first, they were good angels in the service of God, until they rebelled against Him. What does that mean? That demons don’t even jokingly have the same power as God; what they have is the same power as the angels of God, only that instead of doing good and serving God, they do evil and want the destruction of man. In short, the good angels freely obey and serve God, and therefore, they watch over and help men to be saved and go to Heaven; and evil angels, known mainly as demons, work to make men turn away from God, to sin and die, going to eternal hell.

Why do people forget about good angels? Believe me, the world would be much better, if humans invoked and allowed themselves to be served by the angels of God. We all, we all have our own guardian angel, and many, ignore him completely. They do not know what they lose…

My friend, tomorrow is the feast of the archangels, and on October 2, this Friday, is the day of the guardian angels. I encourage you to celebrate it properly and with holy joy, as well as to nurture your devotion to these beings of goodness, who fight against demons and evil for you.

Vlog 280 – Priest

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Priest”.

Oh, no, those doubts that do not stop haunting you and making you dizzy. Many comment, many say, others encourage you to launch without thinking; the others pout you, protest and refuse. My friend, don’t take a wrong step; just as if you hesitate to marry X person, I would tell you not to marry him, in the same way, if you hesitate to be a priest, my advice is not to become a priest.

You can always enter the seminary and test what the priestly life could be like, although obviously life in the seminary is not the same as you would later lead as a priest. In the seminary you have many companions, you study, the environment is different from when you are a priest, because a priest must dedicate himself to administering the sacraments, helping the faithful… If you enter the seminary, in a good seminary, and even so, you have a thousand and one doubts about whether to become a priest, no matter how much some encourage or even pressure you, do not become a priest, that the priesthood is a life of love and total dedication to God and others, and not a temporary sacrament that is taken lightly.

My friend, if you are clear about it, if you see that your vocation is the priesthood, hallelujah, blessed are you! Do not fear, and move on, pursue and live your vocation with your soul and heart, don’t let fear or the devil stop you, and please, please, fall in love with your Holy Mother, the Virgin Mary, so that she teach you to serve and care for Jesus. My friend, be a good priest, be a holy priest!; you are in my prayers.

Vlog 279 – Holy Cross

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Holy Cross”.

My friend, look at a crucifix; contemplate Jesus on the Cross. What did Christ, God the Son, do to deserve so much cruelty, contempt, and wickedness? To love, love, love; to love you madly, love you just as you are; loving you to the limit of bearing your sins and those of the whole world, being He, God, Perfection, Love and Goodness.

Jesus, God, was crucified, just as it was written in the scriptures; Jesus, true God and true Man, died on the cross, and on the third day He rose again. He conquered death, He conquered sin, He conquered evil, for us, giving us his Heavenly Kingdom!

My friend, when you suffer, look at the cross, look at Jesus; kiss the crucifix over and over again, and ask Jesus Christ to help you get ahead, ask him with faith, strength and joy to not despair or give up. And please, go and receive his comfort in confession, and his embrace and kisses of love, receiving communion.

God, Jesus, the Messiah, triumphed on the Cross, on the Holy Cross. Bow down to the cross and venerate it. My friend, do not fear the cross, always go to Jesus, and you will fly to Heaven, you will triumph in this world, carrying your cross with love and joy.

Vlog 278 – Goodbye defect

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Goodbye defect”.

My friend, you may not have lived purity and chastity since ever, you may not have had an orderly life; but today I am telling you and I am truly telling you, that this, with the help and grace of Almighty God, can change.

Beauty and happiness reside in purity, in the goodness and innocence of one’s soul, body, mind and heart. My friend, you firmly decide to change your life, you choose not to have defects, you want to be good, pure, perfect!; because in this way, and only in this way, you will be truly happy. Do not worry, God gives you the necessary tools in order to achieve it, and to fight against evil: prayer, sacraments and commandments.

The devil will tempt you not to escape from his hands, but God is stronger and more powerful than the devil, you resists in goodness and in the right way! Come on, my friend! Examine your conscience and go to confession and receibe the communion, and you will see that God blesses you with his comfort and joy, to start over.

Please look at Mary, the Mother of God, yours and mine, the most beautiful of all women who have walked and will walk on earth. Ask her to intercede for you. Pray to the Virgin Mary, the Immaculate, the one who was conceived without original sin, the precious and always Virgin, to help you live purity, to have a pure heart, just like her; ask her to put your emotions and feelings in order, ask her to teach you how to love, and to transmit her virtues to you. Learn from her, because she is saint.

Vlog 277 – Faults

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Faults”.

My friend, yes, I know, we are human and therefore imperfect. But do you know what I’m saying? That it is not worth to sit idly by. Why do you think you live? I tell you? To give glory to God, serving Him, improving day after day with a continuous struggle. Fight? What fight? That of perfecting yourself, of course, because only those who pursue perfection, those who struggle daily to be like Christ, at death, live eternally in Heaven. If you are smart and want to be happy, you are interested in going to Heaven for all eternity. You see, yes, you will have to work.

What are you going to do? How do you plan to overcome your faults? How do you intend to let go of those imperfections, big or small, that stop you, or make you fall back and stumble? Do you have any plans? Have one! Look, don’t think about the faults you have, don’t focus on them, I don’t want you to get upset or depressed. I repeat, do not think about your own faults, do not say: I am a super messy man, I have a terrible temper… No, enough! Think about the virtues that you lack, those virtues that you need to improve. Perhaps patience, humility, temperance? Maybe strength, prudence, or justice? Think calmly, take your time, analyze it and make your plan. In this plan there can be no lack of prayer, of course not, and do not forget the sacraments: confession and communion, so that God will help you and give you strength. Because the saints are not born saints, they are made saints with the grace of God.

My friend, get rid of the annoying faults that do nothing but hinder, fill yourself with virtues and be happy walking behind perfection, holiness. You know, do your homework, make your plan and carry it out. To reap virtues!
