 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “The chosen one”.

My friend, God thought of you, God dreamed of you, God said your name, God has given you life… God has chosen you, God has chosen you. Yes, He has chosen you because He loves you, He loves you madly and with all his love! And He knows very well, even if you ignore Him, that you are the only one who can fulfill your mission, that mission that you must carry out to be and feel really happy and fulfilled, mission for which you live on earth. I tell you loud and clear, my friend, God wants you saint, Almighty God, the Creator of the whole world, He loves you so much, that He not only created you, but He created you so that by overcoming the trial of life, you can be “perfect”, be saint, and so, when you cross the threshold of death, you live eternally without end, in his loving company, in Heaven.

Yes, my friend, God loves you, God calls you, God has chosen you!, and while you fight daily for your holiness, God expects you to make a better world by fulfilling your vocation, because you have your own stamp, your character, personality, your virtues. Yes, I know, you also have faults, like everyone else, but despite them, God loves you and has chosen you, because if you live in his wave, if you live in sanctifying grace for living clean from all mortal sin, you can do everything with God, even change the world.

My friend, you’re a chosen one, you know that. What will you do with your life? Are you going to fight to achieve holiness? Are you going to fulfill your mission, your vocation? Say yes. Amen!

Vlog 275 – Capable

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Capable”.

There is a beautiful phrase that says: “God does not choose the capable ones, He makes capable the chosen”.

What a wonderful and great truth! God only needs your humility and your will, in order to do great things in you and with you. You do not need to study any degree, do a thousand masters, as well as wait to accumulate years and years of formation and experience, to put yourself at the service of God. No, my friend, life is not like that. God needs you now, now!, right now, so you can carry out your mission, so that starting today you can make a better world.

Oh my friend!, if you allow yourself to be loved by God, if you merge with Him for love, receiving Holy Communion, being before cleaned from all mortal sin, there is nothing, nothing that prevents God from making you great. Let God train you, let God make you capable; don’t want to do things in your own time and way. Place yourself in the hands of God, place yourself at the feet of Jesus, and tell Him from the heart: My Lord and my God, here you have me, that your will be done and not mine. Teach me, mold me, in order to be as you want me to be, and to do what you want me to do.

And God, through the Holy Spirit and divine providence, will guide you. Pray, pray and receive the sacraments assiduously, and God will take your steps along the necessary paths, training you for your great mission, to be holy, serving Him every day of your life with your vocation, be it the priesthood, marriage, religious life, or simply that of a lay person committed to the Catholic Church.

Vlog 274 – Self-conscious

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Self-conscious”.

My friend, I don’t know if you too, but throughout my life, I have known many catholics, who, even though they are baptized, have made their First Communion, have even received confirmation, they are self-conscious catholics: christians who fall between two stools, being “modern Catholics”, who, in practice, hide and forget their faith, in order to do the same as those who are not catholics. How sad that those who can have happiness here on earth and then in the Celestial Kingdom, those who can receive the forgiveness of their sins in the confessional, those who can have God within them for Holy Communion, go begging to the world, and turning their backs on God. Unfortunately they do not know or love their faith, they do not know or love God, they do not live the Gospel, they live submerged in worldliness.

My friend, be an example, be a light! When people look at you, they will see Christ in you; yes, Christ, who did everything well, obeying God the Father in everything, and allowing himself to be guided by the Holy Spirit. Don’t be self-conscious, no! You are heir to the Heavenly Kingdom; do not change your wonderful and priceless inheritance in order to make yourself a place and name in this world, where you will only inhabit a handful of years. And let us pray, let us pray a lot for Catholics who are self-conscious about their faith, let us pray that they change and be examples of holiness.

Vlog 273 – Sincerity

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Sincerity”.

My friend, how important it is to be sincere. Sincerity is not at odds with discretion or good manners. Many are not mincing their words, nor any problem in saying to others, the things as they see and feel them.

Being sincere does not mean being impulsive and disregarding charity. We must be sincere, yes! However, in order to be sincere, we must not leave goodness aside. We must always be good, always and always, and it is precisely kindness that helps us, together with humility, to be correctly honest with others, without letting ourselves be carried away by the moment, circumstances or emotions.

Sincerity begins with oneself. So many are honest with others and other people’s things, however they are not honest with themselves.

To be sincere you must go to Jesus, God; He, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, is the one who will help you, through prayer and the sacraments, to always be good, with yourself and with others, as well as to be sincere.

Accept reality, even if it is painful. You are not perfect, no; but God loves you so much, that He gives you his grace and comfort in confession and in communion, so that you rise from your falls and fight, improving day by day.

Vlog 272 – Swear words

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Swear words”.

My friend, my friend, I already know that it abounds everywhere, I already know that the vast majority of people are not able to say a phrase without uttering one or more swear words. Good language is so beautiful, languages have such a rich vocabulary… how sad it is that people are vulgar in their way of speaking.

“By their fruits you will know them”, and by their way of speaking and expressing themselves, too.

My friend, I say to you, yes, to you; don’t say swear words or vulgar language, although it is fashionable, although some bad words have become popular. God wants us to do everything well for love of Him, so we must speak properly, without being vulgar or rude.

Yes my friend, as in everything, it is difficult to break the habit, it is difficult to obtain new habits and virtues, but do you know a wonderful thing?, that with good will and with God, you can do everything. Come on, my friend, decide to speak well in order to give glory to God with your way of speaking! Pray and fight to get it, even if it’s difficult for you. Don’t give up, and you will.

Vlog 271 – Trust

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Trust”.

My friend, my friend… where do you place your trust? In the money, the fame, the material things? It all ends. My friend, tell me, who do you have your trust in? In yourself, in a specific person? We humans are all sinful and imperfect, and humans disappoint us. My frind, who do you have to trust?

Believe me, you must, you need to trust God, the Creator of the universe, of the whole world, of all things, the visible and invisible things, of the perishable and the eternal. Because only God is Almighty, because God is the only one who truly loves you just as you are, because only God is the one who can give you His grace and strength, through prayer and the sacraments; because God, and nobody but God, One and Triune, loves you and desires you madly, that is why He offers you Eternal Life; yes, Eternal Life. It is said very quickly, but… who else than God offers you and can give you happiness and Heaven? No one, not even yourself.

My friend, know God, fall in love with Jesus of Nazareth, God the Son, who becoming man, without ceasing to be Almighty God, lived in the world as one of us, to fulfill his mission: to save the human lineage with his death on the Cross. My friend, my friend… read and enjoy the Holy Bible, discover God’s love for you, and fall in love with Him.

Vlog 270 – To get down to work

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “To get down to work”.

Will, will… so many lack will. My friend, it is not a matter of thinking things a hundred times, but of making the right decision, putting oneself under the obligation to do so, and to do it, hard though it may be. There is no time to lose and there is so much to do…

My friend, get down to work, because it is time; get down to work and don’t delay things; yes, get down to work, right now!, because only those who are faithful in what is least, are faithful also in much, in what is great; and what is greater than each one fulfilling his mission?

Do not deceive yourself and do not fall into the devices of the cunning Satan, who knows all the ways to trip you up. Don’t be lazy, no! Always do what you have to do, whether you feel like it or not, even if it is the smallest, most daily and insignificant thing to do, and, oh wonder!, in your constancy, for the love of God, you will see yourself overcome.

Vlog 269 – What is to love?

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “What is to love?”

“To love is to serve, and the more one serves, the more one loves”. I heard this profound phrase in a sunday sermon, and it stuck with me. What a great truth! I love it, that’s why I share it with you, my friend.

Unfortunately, there are many confused people, who believe that to love is to use others, that others serve he, and not that he serve others. That is selfishness, not love; look carefully, if Jesus, God, who is Love, came to serve us, do you think that you can truly love without serving?

Those who serve, are those who love. For that reason, for a relationship to work, for there to be true love, they must serve each other, so that love grows and increases.

You know, my friend, the more you serve, the more you will love.

To finish, I remind you what Jesus, God the Son, commanded us to do: “Love one another as I love you”.

Love and serve, serve and love; serve much more, and then you will love much more!

Vlog 268 – Temptation

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Temptation”.

My friend, many mistakenly believe that having temptations is bad, it is a sin. Have you read the Gospels? If not, I invite you to do it, you will see that you learn many useful things. In the Gospel it is narrated how Jesus, God Himself, true God and true Man, was tempted by the devil in the desert. Despite the cunning and persistence of the devil, Jesus did not fall into temptation, I repeat: He did not fall into temptation! This is precisely what we Christians pray in “the Our Father”, the prayer that Jesus taught us, and that you will also find in the Gospel.

Every human being is constantly tempted by the devil, who wants to separate us from God, that is why he insists persistently that we sin, so that we die to Grace.

Having temptations, in itself, is not a sin, what is a sin is:

1. To fall into temptations.
2. To put yourself on the occasion of sin.
3. To be like the devil, and to tempt others, being a stone of stumbling to them.

My friend, my friend; when you have temptations, that you will have them —everyone has them— pray to your guardian angel, and ask Holy Mary to crush the devil’s head so that he leaves you alone; and of course, persevere in goodness. And if you fall into any temptation, repent from the bottom of your heart, go to confession and start again with the Grace of God.

Vlog 267 – Resolutions

 Hello my friend, I’m Victoria Bellido Durán, member of the Musical Group Flos Mariae, and today I want to give you my opinion about the subject that I entitled: “Resolutions”.

My friend, what resolutions do you have? Do you have plans? What are your goals? Do you dream?

If you answer these questions with ‘yes’, my congratulations to you, and if unfortunately your answers are negative, I encourage you to do it, to daydreaming, to set goals and to imagine, to want things in the short and long term, because my friend, the person who dreams can easily spread his wings and chase his dreams, he can fly despite adversity, because when you know the direction to take, the passion, the desire that is in your heart to achieve your dream, your goal, leads you to do whatever it takes to achieve it. It is wonderful to know that although one may be mistaken or delayed in reaching his goals, everything that happens when one is in sanctifying grace, is providential, and God helps to achieve the good and lawful desires.

My friend, get started, rejoice your heart! Pray and work, fight good for those good dreams that God allows you to dream and wants you to achieve.
